My fc40 Camera appears to be fully charged, i.e. when I plug into a wall socket charger the red light flashes for about 10 seconds then switches off. When I plug it into my PC I can see the SD card and I can download to the PC The only thing I can't do is switch the camera on when it is not connected to the USB.
